Olivia Rodrigo
Olivia Isabel Rodrigo was born on February 20, 2003. She is an American actor, singer, and producer. Her lead roles in Disney's High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and Bizaardvark became well-known in the late 2010s. After joining Geffen and Interscope Records in 2020, Rodrigo released her debut single "Drivers License" which set several records and became one of the top-selling tracks in 2021, bringing her into the limelight. The single was followed by "Deja Vu", "Good 4 U" and her debut solo studio album, Sour (2021), that was both a critical and commercial success and garnered three Grammy Awards. In 2022, a Disney+ documentary called Olivia Rodrigo: driving home 2 U chronicled her creative process. She's also been honored with an American Music Award and seven Billboard Music Awards, as in addition to four MTV Video Music Awards. Time named her 2021 Entertainer of the Year and Billboard called her Women of the Year in 2022.
As a musician, Rodrigo has various accolades that include three Grammy Awards, seven Billboard Music Awards Four MTV Video Music Awards, four iHeartRadio Music Awards, two People's Choice Awards, an American Music Award, a Brit Award and an Juno Award.Rodrigo was included in the 2021 edition of Time magazine's 100 Next list. [110] She was named Time's Entertainer of the Year for 2021. [111It was reported that Billboard recognized Rodrigo with the Women of the Year award during the 2022 Billboard Women in Music. In addition, she was awarded "Songwriter of the year" by Variety in 2021 [113] and in 2022 at the ASCAP Awards. [114]
