Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is a American and Canadian artist and singer. She has released over 20 albums. Her songs are classified by the label as folk and alternative rock. They also incorporate elements of hip-hop music, jazz, and punk. The widely regarded feminist icon Grammy winner Ani DiFranco was the founder of the DIY movement being one of the pioneers to establish her own label 1990. DiFranco was born on September 23, 1970 in New York City, York.
