Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country singer for over 30 years. Her birthplace was in Decatur IL on the 23rd July 1971. LeAnne Kymes was also one of two youngest Grammy Award recipients. Alison Maria Krauss, born July 23, 1971 is an American artist and performer. She entered the music industry in the early years, having won local competitions at 10, before making her first recording at 14. When she was 14, she joined Rounder Records and in 1987 released her debut solo album. She was also invited to the group Alison Krauss Union Station where she is still performing. In 1989, she released her first solo album her first solo album was released with them.
